Our story
Built by teachers who got tired of boring courses
Lumina began in 2019 when three friends, a software engineer, a designer and a classroom teacher, realised the best learning of their careers had come from working next to someone more experienced, not from watching hours of lectures.
So we built the platform we wished existed: short, practical lessons from people who do the work, projects reviewed by real mentors, and credentials employers trust.
Today more than 120,000 learners in 60+ countries use Lumina to change careers, earn promotions and learn things they love.
