Joseph is a restaurant-supply engineer who has never once left a coffee shop without learning the barista’s name. He still insists the best pizza in San Francisco is the one he burned on their third date.
Anna is a pediatric nurse with a gift for turning bad Mondays into good stories. She plans every trip, forgets every umbrella, and has never lost an argument about which trail to hike.
Together they have hiked half of Marin, burned at least four lasagnas, and adopted one very opinionated beagle named Biscuit.

Our story
Three chapters, one happy ending
A short tour of how a rainy Tuesday turned into forever.
Autumn 2019
The rainy-day coffee order
Anna grabbed the last oat-milk latte at a Mission District café. Joseph, next in line, offered to trade for a cinnamon roll. Three hours and zero finished coffees later, they had each other’s numbers.
Summer 2022
Biscuit joins the family
A shelter beagle with one floppy ear picked both of them at the same time. Within a month, long weekends meant Stinson Beach walks, and shared keys came without a single speech.
Spring 2026
The question at Land’s End
As fog rolled over the Golden Gate, Joseph pulled a ring from his raincoat pocket, forgot his entire rehearsed speech, and asked anyway. Anna said yes before he finished.
“We did not plan to fall in love over a cinnamon roll, but we would not change a single minute of it.”
