Our Wedding Story

Love is friendship that has caught fire — an easy, quiet understanding built one small kindness at a time, loyal through good days and bad, patient with every imperfection.

How We Met

It started with a spilled coffee and an apology that turned into a two-hour conversation. Neither of us remembers who suggested a second cup, only that we both said yes without hesitation, and that the rest of the evening simply disappeared.

The Proposal

On a quiet evening walk along the water, with no fanfare planned, the question was asked and answered in the same breath. We still argue, lovingly, over who was more surprised — the one who asked, or the one who said yes.

The Ceremony

An intimate outdoor ceremony at golden hour, surrounded by close family and a handful of dear friends, with vows we wrote ourselves.

The Reception

Long tables under string lights, a menu built around the dishes we fell in love over, and dancing that will likely go well past midnight.

Wedding Party

A small, tight-knit circle of the people who have shaped our story — introduced properly on the Home page, just below the ceremony details.

Dress Code

Garden formal — think soft, breathable fabrics in warm neutral tones. Comfortable shoes are strongly encouraged for the lawn.

Gift Registry

Your presence truly is the gift. For those who insist, a short list of ideas is linked from our RSVP confirmation email.

A block of rooms is held at two nearby lakeside inns; a shuttle will run on the evening of the ceremony.

Travel & Directions

The nearest airport is roughly forty minutes away by car; a shared shuttle service will be arranged for out-of-town guests.

A Note From The Couple

We still can't quite believe how many of you are planning to travel to celebrate with us. This day is, more than anything, about the people who have stood beside us along the way — and we cannot wait to fill a single room with all of you at once. Thank you for being part of our story, long before this next chapter even began.
