OUR STORY

Rooted in Tradition, Elevated by Craft

Saffron & Oak was born in 2008 from a single conviction: that truly great food begins with the soil. Our founder, Chef Amara Nwosu, spent three years sourcing farmers across the country before opening our doors — and that relationship with the land still guides every plate we serve today.
Our menu changes with the seasons — sometimes weekly — as what's ripest on the farm dictates what's finest on the table. Every course is paired by our sommelier, Théo Laurent, from a cellar of 400 carefully chosen labels spanning Old World estates and emerging producers.

Signature Dishes

Each plate is a dialogue between the farm and the fire — seasonal ingredients prepared with patience and precision. These are the dishes our guests return for, season after season.

Oak-Smoked Beef Tenderloin

Oak-Smoked Beef Tenderloin

28-day dry-aged tenderloin over root vegetable purée, finished with bone marrow jus and crispy shallots. Our most-requested main since opening night.

Saffron Lobster Risotto

Saffron Lobster Risotto

Hand-dived Atlantic lobster with Vialone Nano rice, Kashmir saffron, and aged Parmigiano — slow-stirred, finished in the shell with brown butter.

Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Fondant

Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Fondant

Valrhona 70% fondant with a molten praline centre, single-origin cocoa ice cream, and a sea salt caramel tuile. Baked to order — please allow 14 minutes.

An extraordinary evening from the first pour to the last crumb. The saffron lobster risotto is the finest I've eaten outside of Venice — and the sommelier's pairing was a revelation. We booked again before leaving the table.
